Anthony J. Strickland, MD, FASAM
Founder & Physician
Dr. Strickland founded EvolveMD out of a deep frustration with the way traditional healthcare fails patients, especially those struggling with addiction and those seeking affirming, judgment-free primary care. With dual board certifications in family medicine and addiction medicine, Dr. Strickland brings a rare combination of expertise and genuine compassion to every patient relationship. Whether you're managing a chronic condition, starting your recovery journey, or simply looking for a doctor who will actually listen, you've found the right place. Outside the clinic, Dr. Strickland is a passionate advocate for healthcare equity and access.
Kayla Slack, DNP (she/her)
Family Nurse Practitioner
Kayla is a family nurse practitioner who earned both her BSN and DNP from Wichita State University and joined EvolveMD in the summer of 2022. She shares EvolveMD’s commitment to accessible, high-quality, compassionate care and to building relationships in which patients feel heard and respected.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys quality time with her partner and their dogs.
